Timeframe and Context

Volunteer work at SV Stöttwang e.V. began in June 2023. The app is still being continuously developed today.

The aim of the project is to support the club’s day-to-day operations and relieve the workload of those responsible by digitalizing existing processes.

As the sole developer, I bear full responsibility for the project – from conception and requirements analysis to the development of the app.

Implementation and Tech Stack

The implementation includes an iOS and Android app, developed as a hybrid app with Flutter and Dart.

The backend was implemented using Firebase and includes a database, authentication, and push notifications.

Challenges and Results

Since the app is developed entirely on a voluntary basis in my spare time, the available time is very limited. Therefore, prioritization was essential to get the app up and running initially. In addition, the app is being developed iteratively.

The app has been successfully launched in the App Store and Google Play Store. It is actively used in the club’s everyday life and supports its members.
